This report reviews the research on the role of school leaders in the adoption of technology. The authors present summaries of research studies to highlight actions that leaders should take and the potential benefits of technology adoption. One dimension of leadership analyzed is forming a vision. From the review of the research, the authors indicate that leaders must present a vision that incorporates the diverse needs of all learners while maintaining a focus on excellence in instruction.
