Why PowerUp?

PowerUp meets you where you are to help you ensure that every student meets Common Core Standards.

In schools across the country, administrators and teachers are concerned about students’ ability to successfully meet the Common Core, especially struggling students and those with disabilities.

We define these students as those who are:

  • Included in general education settings (Tier 1), although they may be receiving Tier 2 or Tier 3 services
  • Diagnosed as having cognitive, physical, and/or emotional disabilities
  • Identified as requiring Individual Educational Plans (IEPs)
  • Considered to be two or more years behind grade level

Although the Common Core mentions the value and potential benefit of technology for students with disabilities, there are few places to turn to for reliable information, curated resources, guidance, and support.

PowerUp is ready to meet you where you are, with the resources and tools you have in your school and classrooms, to help you ensure that every student meets the Common Core.

PowerUp is comprehensive, addressing both instructional issues within classrooms and broader organizational issues in schools. It provides valuable information for leaders and administrators to support effective school-wide technology implementation.
